About Stan Hamilton
I am a self-taught artist, the only artist of nine siblings, from a small town in Kansas. My love for art, particularly drawing and painting became apparent to me as a young child in grade school. I kept my art as a hobby until I reached middle age, then started creating commission portraits, landscapes, seascapes, and wildlife professionally. Currently, I have art collectors of my original work in twelve states and prints of my work sold throughout the United States. Two of my paintings have now been published in books, one in a book of stories of Brown Country Indiana and a double portrait I had created of Kennedy & Lincoln which has now been published in college text books. One of my painting prints of a John Deere tractor sold over 37,000 throughout the United States in 2011. Currently, I have my public studio/gallery called "Hamilton's Art Studio" in Nashville, IN on main street in "The Heritage Mall" which contains five stores.
